Christmas Greetings from Ghana!
    We are living in Accra, Ghana from June through December 2007. Our church, the Hill United Presbyterian Church in Butler, PA, has partnered with the Bubiashie District of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Accra in an exchange between the Porter family and Rev. and Mrs. Atakro.
     We are humbled to be instruments in the carrying out of God's plan. We trust our Lord to guide and protect us throughout this experience. We praise Him daily for the great things he has done here in Ghana and in our family.
     We have learned that not only is this site being used by our church in Butler and our friends and family all over the US, but it is also being used by church members here in Ghana.
     Our prayer is that this opportunity to communicate our experiences helps others to: (1) learn about the ministry of the churches in the US and in Ghana, (2) appreciate the cultural similarities and differences between Americans and Ghanaians, and (3) search their own hearts for God's movement in their lives.
How is God calling you to serve?

This week we traveled to Mole National Park in Ghana and were awed by the majesty of God's creation as we explored the savanna and its inhabitants.
